A tower, asbestos, a battle...
Documentary film by Catherine de Grissac
Duration: 52'40
This film tells the story of the Beaulieu tower in Nantes, called Tripode, of the civil servants who worked there, of their gradual discovery of asbestos and of its dangers, and of 30 years of struggle.
Gathered in an inter-union, they fight for their exposure to asbestos to be recognised by the highest level of government. Gradually, we become aware of the tenacity with which activists have had to act.
This on-going battle is part of that of the tens of thousands of asbestos victims.
