Did have a little trouble with getting a ps1 script file to run, but that was resolved once I figured out which directory I was in and it was in -- even though the prompt told me where I was, I still felt the need to run "pwd" linux command just to verify. Yay! for a linux command working in Microsoft PowerShell!
