Silver Lake is great. Had a heck of a great time with my Wrangler up there. Be careful though, some of the water holes will swallow any rig right up.

i go to silver lake all the time, one of the worst things u can do is go in the water holes cuz some of em are 10-15 feet deep.
or at leat they used to be

That's awesome... Silver Lake rocks. You got some balls to drive through one of those water holes... I've heard of entire trucks being swallowed up by them.
