"Lady Madonna" is a song by The Beatles credited to Lennon/McCartney. In March 1968, it was released as a single, backed with "The Inner Light". The song was recorded at Abbey Road Studios during sessions on 3 February and 6 February 1968 before the Beatles left for India. This single was the last release by the band on Parlophone in the UK, where it reached number one, and Capitol Records in the U.S., where it reached number four. All subsequent releases, starting with "Hey Jude" in August 1968, were released on their own label Apple Records, under EMI distribution, until the late 1970s, when Capitol and Parlophone re-released old material. - wikipedia

  • 1:14 actual lol

  • It was very apparent and obvious that John loved women and respected their hardships. This is what this song is all about. He didn't understand how women do it. This is why I love you John. You GET IT!! :-)

  • @wizzlewolf No, Paul wrote it, and ''Lady Madonna'' is her mom. Watch the ''Love'' documentary, that of the Cirque Du Solei, there they say it ;)

  • Do you love The Beatles? If so, you might be interested in this writing I found recently about them. It is revolutionary, like their music was. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read the section about The Beatles. Pass this on to any Beatles fan you can reach.

  • @wizzlewolf ummm Paul wrote this and sang it. Not John

  • This is an interesting tidbit of trivia. Listening to a John Lennon interview today. Do you know he didn't realize he left out SATURDAY in his "Lady Madonna" song. He said while rehearsing: "I left out a day!" It goes from Friday to Sunday, OPPS!!

  • one oh my favourites genious! ;)) plus love the clappy bit lol!

  • I LOVE YOU BEATLES
