The Lead India Initiative was started by the Times of India with the intention of, in their own words, "hunt to identify new leaders for a new India, men and women with the vision and ability to empower India with the kind of political leadership that is so conspicuous by its absence."
The campaign recently concluded and R K Misra was crowned as the winner.
This is a TV advertisement that was shown during the time of the campaign. It is indeed very well designed and shot with a motley of seemingly real-life characters. The ad does succinctly succeed in touching the hearts of Indians with its simple message of significant importance.
