Hang Gliding - Fall Flight

A video shot in fall of 2008. This video was filmed when the leaves were changing and were at their most colorful, making for some beautiful scenery. Pilots appearing in this video are Jim Steele, Donna Stokes, Chris Price and Steve Prater. Video was shot with a Canon HV-10 HD camcorder, using various mounting methods.

i know these comments are old, but that is definitely not fake. Looks like so much fun and you must feel so free when you're up there. I am thinking about getting into this...I have always wanted to fly, and this would be the easiest way to be your own pilot:)

nice vid, great scenery! You should work on getting that glider IFR certified if you spend too much time in the clouds.

very magic athlete but as an idea i prefer trike it has something pushing you and you dont need looking for thermals up draft etc of cource weather is always giving the command so....

i thought about making a wooden frame hang glider.  I bet it would be possible. nothing is impossible. THere are hundreds of possible machines you could build that would glide.

great movie a verry peaceful view .Im a little bit scared of the hang glider it looks that if you lose control of it is hard to get it back on .Im from Romania and back in the 80 s few people dyed because of it but for sure the technology is more advanced now,maybe one day I'l give it a try ,it worth it for sure.Be safe

@wagz900 You will never look back if you do. I was the same. Always wanted to fly made and flew heaps of RC and stuff. I went and bought a hang glider and learnt how to fly. Best ever.

@debthesinger ::It was not Jim that replied. He would have been nice, not sarcastic and I do not care if I was. Did you bother to look at Jims other videos? All but one are while he is in the air and lots of footage from the same wing mounted camera on his glider. oh and the light offset shining on him you mention below is called the sun.
