My new Name Tag

I went a little overboard on my new nametag for the Venture Science camp at McMaster.

Like, 6 AA batteries overboard.

I designed a circuit board with what's basically an Arduino controller on it, attached a small LCD and put on tons of LEDs. The boards and code are all custom.

Ah, my Eyes! That is cool. I have wanted to make one of these for ages but I don't like the idea of dangling half a tonne of batteries from my neck, or having trailing wires. I might use a PP3 Cell (9V Battery) Thanks for the inspiration!

Nice job :-) Now make one with blue surface mount LEDs, and reverse mount the LCD through a hole in the PCB to make it LOW-PRO.
