  • That's not a recording of Da Da Strain. It wasn't even written yet in 1929

  • @EnfieldEric It was actually written in 1922 and was recorded that same year by Ethel Waters, Mamie Smith, The Original Memphis Five among others.

  • Superlative job you did with a 1929 recording! And every one of the performers was a music legend. Can you post more videos of music from this era: late 20s-early 30s? 1929 seems to have been a banner year in the development of music; so much good stuff was recorded in '28 and '29.
