Andrew Keen, who argued in his book Cult of the Amateur that Web 2.0 is destroying our culture, was more optimistic during an event to launch Charles Leadbeater's book We-Think.
The reality is that web 3.0 is actually going to be a moment when the experts, professionals, grab back the levers of power, the tools of creativity. When I wrote my book I was fearful that the masses were taking over and the future of the world was wikipedia. I actually think that the future of the world are professionals, doctors, academics, even politicians who will use the tools of the Internet like anybody else to distribute their wisdom and exertise. So I'm actually much less pessimistic in the way I look at the world about the future.
what he calls web 3.0 is merely the natural improvement of the natural system he earlier complained about, web 2.0.
and if the experts cant prove themselves to the people, they will not have access to any "levers of power", and rightly so.

In your distorted world, only snobs are qualified to use the Internet. Doctors, Politicians, Lawyers. I guess they are the only class of people who make up the US and wider global population. What's even more preposterous is your refusal to be honest about the Internet. Man has always found new and innovative forms of communication. The Internet is the latest salvo in this effort.

You could not have shown your malcontent for ordinary people more clearly. As a lecturer, you are an amateur about the United States, its geography, history, race relations and poverty. Your world is one Aristocracy and servants. You believe that only old, frumpy, middle aged white males like yourself are fit and qualified to lead. You are a clear and present danger to progress. In your world, coach flights would never exist because coach passengers threatens first class passengers.

You're actually scared I hear it in your voice you are lying to yourself. You know we will take over in the end and share the responsibility of leadership equally this is inevitable. You can pretend you have control of humanity all you like. Humanity knows the game and we already won some people in high places just don't realize it yet. You can't tame the beast of humanity.
