Selena's P.O.V

I looked down at my phone to check the time, and then bit my lip before I looked up. He caught it, and tried to make a statement.

"If your busy, then we-"

I laughed and grabbed his arm pulling him along with me into the diner. We sat at a table close to the door.

"so, what brings you here to this hell hole of a city"

He chuckled and looked at the menu. "Girlfriend"

"She must have you on a tight leash"

"what's that supposed to mean"

I gave my order to the waitor before turning my attention back to Nick.

"I just mean, this isn't exactly the best city to live in, you know the Mob works around here"

He nodded and leaned back into his seat. "so why do you live here"

"I have lived here my whole life"

He sat up and looked at me with narrow eyes. "But your old enough now to move right"

The woman came with our drinks and I played with my straw for a little bit, spacing out a little. I noticed he was still looking at me and waiting for an answer.

"I kind of don't have a choice"

Nick's P.O.V

I looked at her confused. What did she mean she didn't have a choice. I opened my mouth to ask her another question, but her phone rang. SHe picked it up and began talking to the other line.

"I got you something...yes I am...ten minutes top....calm down yes...i'm on my way...ok bye Dems...love you to"

She looked at me with appolegetic eyes. " I'm sorry, but my best friend needs me. It was nice meeting you"

She smiled at me and then began gathering all her stuff. I stood up and went to open the door for her. She walked out of the door, being more careful about the step this time. She turned around and faced me.

"I guess this is bye, tell your girlfriend I said hi"

"see you soon?"

"You just might"

Then she left, taking all the beauty she had with her. I could still hear the click and clatter of her heels as she reached her car. Her car door slammed and then the engine roared.

Selena's P.O.V

I slammed Demi's door letting her no I was here. She ran out of the kitchen and shrieked. " Ahh you got me a cake"

"sure did, it is your birthday isn't"

I put the cake on the counter and then sat all my other stuff on the chair, and then plopped myself on the couch. She sat next to me and crossed her legs leaning her head on my shoulder.

"You look hot" she said while eyeing me up and down"

"since when did my best friend become a perv"

"Well I'm telling the truth, how was work"

I rolled my eyes. "Work was work, but after work was something else."

She sat up straight and looked at me. "I'm listening"

I began explaining the hottie I had met today and how he was off limits, because being in Port Charles, the city of murder and drama, for all I know he was dating my mom. Creepy right? Well it all runs in Port Charles. My mom Vanessa, had a daughter from a previous marriage, she then married my dad, having me and the weird thing is. My step sister. Rachel, she slept with my dad, and got pregnant. At first I though it was wierd, but no one else seemed to care. I thought the whole town had gone looney. Then there was a shoot out at a hotel that my aunt owns. Rachel got shot in the back and lost the baby along with the ability to ever have kids. That's why I questioned Nick's moving her. Port Charles wasn't the nicest, sweetest or safest place to be at all. Especially when your as hot as Nick.

Oh and if your still confused about my moms story...here is a easier way to put it

Vanessa and some guy= my sister

Vanessa and my dad=me

Rachel and MY dad=a kid

now that is creepy!
