My 3 gallon JBJ Picotope planted tank gets a little dose of CO2.
A family friend sent us so Omaha Steaks and I thought it'd look cool to trow some of the dry ice into the tank. I was right!

  • Please tell what kind of light fixture you have on your picotope.

  • @RRPROTOTYPE It is a 36W Current dual CF fixture. Plants and LPS coral love it.

  • -_- i hope you understand that you basiclly lowered the core temperature of the fish insanely by doing this. dont try to argue with the fact that dry ice is much much below freezing. its a great tank, but that was a terrible idea lol. maybe should've tried it on something else?

  • @Supertasticaquatics I wouldn't argue that dry ice isn't cold. It's -70 degrees F. But I would argue that putting a quarter sized piece into a 3 gallon tank of water will not affect the temperature at all.

  • AHAHAHAHAHAH thats cool

  • thts not funny your ignorant

  • LOL

  • Good way of to get carbon dioxide for the plants.

  • the ice was a great idea! Its perfect you will meet your goal in no time! Wait, arnt you trying to kill your fish? 0-0

  • @TheCuban1040 you'd be surprised. doesn't take long to lower the temp of an icebox with a larger piece to below freezing temperature. just saying. I understand it's a cool test, but don't do it as a steady supply of co2, besides, i dont even think that piece would last multiple hours lol
