The new trend of eyebrow raising as a form of unorthodox offence, whilst not in breach of the laws of the game, is certainly not in the spirit of the game. I for one agree with decision of Head Official Tony Crabbage during the recent league playoffs, in the disqualification of Reginald Jones, for excessive use against Hamish Finnegan. Unfortunately the resultant carnage in the clash between fans led to over 600 casualties, many of which are still in critical condition. A dark day in our sport

Staring was made a compulsory sport in Australian Primary Schools in 2004 in the hope of claiming gold in the 2012 London Olympics but, due to pressure from Iran and North Korea, the sport was not recognised and so not included. Its a pity because many of the star starers would otherwise have been in the swimming squad and we would have won more gold in the pool. Well thats what Mum told me.

You may not believe, but Spatsky does not have many fans in Poland. He really acts like a jerk, what he confirmed after this classic final.

We have promising young players, like U-17 Stare-Out Grand Slam winner Czeslaw Chrzaszczewski or amateur indoor champion Ziemowit Szczygiel. Not forgeting about our women team. These players have fans that follow them on every stare-out game. Anyway, Spatsky is now staring for shaikhs of Qatar, after he changed his nationality in 2011.

It hasn't been the same since the breakaway league and big money got involved. I miss the old days. Yes times change, but my dad used to take me, I can't imagine taking my son on a regular basis. It's a once or twice a year treat now, just too expensive.

News just in that Kampagnola has fired his manager after collapsing in the final and sinking to the bottom of rankings in a two year slump in form. He's just announced he'll be bringing in former World Champion Harry Redknapp as a replacement. Redknapp has a decent track record in resurrecting contestant's fortunes, having lifted Pipi Postopopolus out of the mire in the 2008-09 season, before keeping Roman Solowvka in the Primo Ligue during two spells with the Pole.
