The popular Burmese rock band Iron Cross is using music to challenge the nation's infamously repressive regime. In the great tradition of rock and roll, Iron Cross is taking on Burma's military government with song.

  • I love Burma.

  • my brother is seeing them in burma

  • What's the name of the song that starts at 1:50? I heard it out of someone's window while I was in Burma recently. It's catchy!

  • no matter what happens or no matter what ppl say, that's my beloved BURMA!!! yeh BURMA can b portrayed by two extreme opposite situations... it may b the ugliest country for others but it's the most beautiful country for me!!!

  • Aung San Suu Kyi has been arrested for violating her house arrest (housing an american). Google it for more info. This is breaking news. Likely 7 yrs in prison. Could be bad news for the potential 2010 election, probably wont happen.

  • A simply amazing video that will surely be able to inspire many to learn more about the Burmese people's hardships. Music has the power to change lives, change and unify nations, and inspire peaceful resolution...for Burma it is my hope that music will do all of these things and more.

  • I agree why do the West not do anything, I would imagine that because the Russian and Chinese Government backs the Junta, they both sell them arms. If America and the rest of the west stepped in it could cause an stabilized region. America and the west unfortunately at this stage are not willing to step in and tell the Burmese Government what to do, its a little like picking on a small kid when he has some monstrous older brother, in this case 2 monstrous older brothers....
