"Wild" young fallow buck & doe in the Forest of Dean.
I had waited patiently and silently for around 3hrs for these shots. They came to within 5 metres of me and didn't even know I was there!

  • Some great images Robin, well done on getting so close, good to see the velvet and the coats in pristine condition. I saw four near W13 cross in front of me on Saturday when out with my young nephew but a dog spooked them unfortunately.

This morning (Monday) one was barking at me as I was doing some Time-lapse near Boys Grave :-)

  • @MrReggub Thanks Mike. I know what you mean about the dogs mate! I once put in a few hours at a favourite spot, only for a woman to come through the wood, off track with her dog off lead. Unbelievable!
