The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour headed north this past weekend to cold and rainy Cougar Point Golf Club, a member of the famed Kiawah Island Resorts set of courses. On Day One of the tournament the players had to battle to post scores before the round was called on account of the harsh conditions .Following a day of absolute tumultuous conditions, the clouds seemed to dissipate and the players were forced to deal with a new demon, the cold. Due to the below freezing conditions, the players once again found themselves beginning their rounds after the originally scheduled time and also required a lot of patience, coupled with precision of their approach shots to hold the heavily undulated greens of Cougar Point.
