The idea behind this particular scheme is that we may have a monster that does an attack "Flirt" on just the male characters, for instance. But yeah, there are other ones we added in order to beef up the AI.

Interesting. What kind of applications are you use this specific-targeting for? Will some characters play easier because monsters will not target them as aggressively?

Well, it was added for the sake of more targetting options for monsters. This is just one new target scheme, and there's quite a few more for monsters. How far we'll actually take it, I dunno. =\
