Pound For Pound Productions & HUF Boxing proudly present THE SUMMER SHOWDOWN, sanctioned by Boxing Ontario.
This video includes 3 action packed matches featuring some of the best boxers in Canada.
First up was national champion Justin Hocko of the Windsor Boxing Club in the red corner against Up and coming Fasil Sobir from the Cabbagetown Boxing Club in the blue corner.
The second bout and the best bout of the night featured Josh Wagner of Bigtyme Boxing Club in the red corner against Lexton Bates of HUF GYM in the blue corner.
The main event was a Premier Boxing League Championship match. In the red corner out of King of the Ring against David Gibson of HUF GYM in the blue corner.

Good fight. One of the best i have seen on youtube apart from olympic level. I would say that stamina needs to be worked on otherwise when wither fights a decent fighter with stamina the pressure would be too much. Blie could have been KOd twice in the first if red followed up. Again good fight lads.

I guess that is the beauty of boxing. I thought Blue did well in the first round, and okay in the second, experience and conditioning seemed to take over in the 3rd. However Red probably could have done better but he seemed to lack respect for his opponent.
Just my opinion, Good fight overall

Nice Right uppercut from Cabbagetown. I think the experience of Hocko is what got him this bout. I think conditioning near the end was a factor too.I'd be interested to know what he said the to the referee to lose a point?
