Watch it closely...Derren takes great care to set down the cup as slowly as possible.

Although he got the candle wrong, somebody has already noted that Derren places emphasis on the word 'role', sounding like 'roll' - something cylindrical. Also, he mentions temperature and repeats the word 'can', suggesting 'candle'. He also reinforces the subject's suggestion that it's smooth. Still amazing though, just shows that he's influencing the amputee to choose certain words.

@JaySoKnown GET yourself educated. just because he doesn't do the criss angel one camera shot thing should not mean he is A fraud. rather, the camera movements and colors add entertainment value. and derren himself even denounces any real LIFE psychic powers of abilities daily.

I agree with what ur saying... however those suggestions are too vague... however i can see this being acheived only if derren brown can manipulate the energy feild of other people... for example by drawing it out he influenced that mans energy feild to be recreated at tha place of the arm... which is amazing...

I KNOW.. wtf, I said PROVE that he is, anyone can say "oh yeah, he's a professional.", that doesn't mean It's true, if they would have kept the camera in one place on the guy with no arm, then It would have been MORE believable.
