Here's an onride/offride video of the Tornado, a Huss manufactured Flipper, at the 2010 North Brunswick Youth Festival. It's the only traveling Flipper in the US and it's owned by Reithoffer Shows. The ride was a bit more intense then I thought it would be and I was afraid my camera, secured by a clamp mount, was going to fly off at some point!

Song is 'Return of Forever' by High Contrast

  • how did you do the slow motion effect at 2:44 ?? what software did you use to edit and how did you do the slow motion?

  • @jonathantylerfowler The slo-mo part was done in Adobe After Effects using the 'Timewarp' effect. I did most of the editing in Sony Vegas however.

  • @cygnus122 okay I have sony vegas so how do i use adobe after effects?

  • @jonathantylerfowler not easily. lol

  • I move this ride for The Reithoffers, This fella did a real good job, i remember when he filmed this! We thought his camera was gonna blow away!!!

  • @buddyandnancy When the camera started to wobble at around 1:15 in this vid, I got a bit nervous myself! I definitely underestimated the force of that ride lol, Was that you towards the end btw, or were you the one at the controls?

  • @buddyandnancy nancy its randy

  • paybox isnt lit up, still working on l e d lighting, picture was taken before ALL the l e ds were finished being put in ,

  • @craze710 Sorry didn't make myself clear enough.

On the exterior of the paybox/control box, they are used as both on this model of ride, there is usually flashing lighting which is designed to make the paybox look nice and here it isn't turned on. Go to rides database dot com, search for Huss Flippers you'll see what I mean.

  • @245thegreat because you don't pay the op directly but you usually buy tickets for all of the rides.
