yeah. you can use pinch harmonics.

Nah I know. You relax the strings with your floyd, pick a natural harmonic and then stress the strings to create a high pitched noise. But this is different I'm sure. I only thought you could use natural harmonics-am I wrong?

it's called a squeelie. (this is mostly likely what he is doing) you can push your tremolo (whammy) down, make the PH and the release the whammy. you can then bend the string to get a cool (and common) effect on the note.

Takes LOTS of practice, but is really cool once you get it.
