The first of two parts. This video goes over my contemplated teaching tactics and how to create a very simple Hello World application. See part two:

  • hey bro, the thing is i have Xcode 4.0 and i can't find the library to drag images into the .xib that we opened. could u please help me?

  • @MrAJtech In Xcode 4 you can show the library go to View > Utilities > Object Library in the menu bar.

  • wow the only thing i dont udnerstand is coding, i dont even know why to write and what to write., i mean like, did you write all that green and red text urself or did you just put in some changes and things=?

  • @nr1Nerd When you create a new Xcode project, a lot of the template code is there automatically; although a good programmer should be able to fill it in if needed. Programming is a skill that takes much time and learning, not something that just makes sense right away. These tutorials are probably not the best for someone who has never coded before in their lifetime.

  • What happen to me is the following:

In the last part when you put the settext is giving me an error and I cant find out what it is

  • @brunopevide note that you have to capitalize the word setText: properly. Also, it would really help if you wrote the text of the error in the comment so that I can help you.

  • 1080p video means now I can read what you are actually doing!!! Excellent!
