Marshall Holman, bowling with a 14 pound ball due to a broken finger in his bowling hand, faces Mal Acosta in Match 2 of the four-match, five-man stepladder finals of the 1982 Syracuse Open. This clip is highly edited and shows mostly Holman's shots. Although Holman would not go on to win this tournament (he was defeated in the next match 256-235 by Dave Soutar, who would go on to defeat Tom Baker in the title match), this is one of the more amazing performances by Holman in his stellar career. USA Network. Eddie Doucette on play-by-play, Mike Durbin on color. Nov. 9, 1982.

  • The announcer was Eddie Doucette.

  • Thanks. I knew someone here would know. I've fixed it in the "info."
