  • @billboy1616 Yes, like horse power, cc is just a way of rating a vehicles power. Also there are many other things that determine a vehicles power. Just like a computer, if you have a powerful CPU BUT all your other components are not, they then become the bottle necks and therefore will prevent your computer from being at its best.

  • @blarson12 most of the time yes but not always for instance at the time it came out the first gsxr 750 was more powerful then some bigger bikes but as a rule bikes like that are an exception

  • @billboy1616 Yes i know that but generally if the cc number is high then the bike is more powerful. Therefore a 100cc is more powerful than a 500cc, yes?

  • @blarson12 No its the size of the engine some countries measure it in cubic centimeters others like the US in inches

  • @billboy1616 Yeah thanks, i kind of figured thats what it was, but is cc the same as hp?

  • @blarson12 yeah the 916 is about 900cc and the 996 surprise surprise is 996cc hence the name hope this helps

  • Does anyone know the difference between the 916 and the 996?

  • Dude 996 is sick as ! Just something about the 916 996 998 ! And some of the comments about the Ducati ! Don't go there unless you've owned one or rode one !

Ducati 996 bone shaker spitting animal that's stir your soul ! Even the devil his self wouldn't mess ! Lol

Theres nothing better than ridding my V twin bully ! Over the tight twisting hills of Lancashire ! If you ain't rode one don't even go there !

Us ducati boys keep it tight ! Laters

  • I LOVE YELLOW DUCATIS

  • i bought a 99 996 last night with termi exhausted and a open clutch cover and a chip and it sounds the same i love it.
