Wonderful sound! I've had a couple of harps and zithers, including a Chinese Guzheng which I love to play and love the sound. In recent times I have thought about what it would be like to make, tune, or modify a zheng for playing klezmer. I can certainly appreciate the ancient klezmer-like sound that is coming from this beautiful Lyre and Klezfiddle1's playing. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Cape Cod Massachusetts.

This is quite remarkable.
Would you be so kind as to tell us the scale used here?

@JohnMalcolm Glad you like my "Musical Adventures in Time Travel"! The scale is known as the "chromatic dorian mode": EFG#ABCDE. In Klezmer music, this ancient Middle Eastern scale is known as the "Ahava Raba" mode - the same scale also can be heard in examples of Spanish Flamenco...presumably introduced by the Moors? All details in the "Historical Research" section of my ancientlyre website (URL given on my Youtube Channel Page)
