  • I buy cars to drive and enjoy, not to sit in the garage and maintain in pristine condition. If I could afford a couple Ferraris, they'd all be modified and driven frequently.

If you're worried that much about the value of the car, then you're not going to drive it anyway, and in my opinion there's not much point in owning a car that you don't drive. Ferraris, especially, are meant to be driven.

  • better question. Why would you not upgrade it? The engine was designed to be able to make 700+ HP, yet it only makes 513 after being molested by emissions and noise regulations. This car was MADE to be opened up.

I don't get it. A car isn't going to fall apart from sitting. So what does it matter if it "dies" from sitting when you're not driving it anyway?

I'm not trying to tell you what to do with YOUR car, I'm simply stating what I would do with mine if I had one. And I don't, so I guess it doesn't matter much, huh? Assuming you actually own a Ferrari (and no offense if you do, but a lot of people say things on the internet), you're a lucky dude and I envy you. Cheers!

  • you don't understand anything about ferrari's, just take a japanese shit if you want to pimp it..

  • @762SLR762

I disagree. Anyone could make the exact same argument you're making about DRIVING the thing, as if a Ferrari is only "art" if it's in pristine, showroom condition.

I enjoy working on and modifying cars as much as I do driving them. I'm not sure what you think I meant by modifying, but I'm not about to go attaching huge wings or body kits to a Ferrari. There IS such a thing as tasteful modification.

  • @acrididi

How can you modify art? However you want! If I own it, I can do whatever I want to it.

All I care about is making the car better. Emissions and noise requirements of most stock cars are a bigger compromise than necessary for my personal tastes.

  • @762SLR762

No, I don't know better than Enzo Ferrari. But I'm also not limited to his criteria for noise and emissions, either.

Besides, I'm not the person designing the exhaust anyway.

  • @787Bisurdaddy i agree about using it, but not about modifing it, how can you modify a piece of art?

  • @rhand18 Ferraris can be upgraded, but i would do it only slightly, give it some breathing space. For instace turbo on a ferrari v12 is a disgrace
