Can u use regular grapes from the store???

@theteenkitchen I would suppose that they would work, but your other types or grapes don't have the bold flavor of the concord grapes. I would just go to the freezer section and get a can of purple grape juice concentrate and make the grape juice and use that for your sorbet. Let me know how it turns out.

what ice cream machine is that?

@britsluver The brand is Rival. It's technically, as sold by Rival, a "Frozen Yogurt" maker. Same thing. It churns and turns and chills. That is what you need. Would it be helpful if I reviewed some equipment sometime for the viewers?

@fackthatshat I must say that I'm impressed by you inventiveness to go the toy ice cream maker. I've also seen a system which uses a gallon jar (like a big plastic mayo jar) in which you put the ice cream mixture. Then, you place the jar in a waterproof sack with ice in it. Then you roll, shake and toss the bag until the mixture is churned and frozen. It's used on the front of a 4x4 to make ice cream in the wilderness!
