Israel wants to crush any military resistance to them in the ME. They tried it in 2006, and failed, If you have the most minute knoledge of political logic its that Israel is trying to crush Hizbullah and are planning to strike again. Hizbullah is the only force in Lebennon who is willing to resist Israeli aggression. And there are Lebanese who are trying to disable Hizbullah, and in turn trying enable Israels and the USs political military economic hegemony of the region.
