On Saturday May 1, 2011, Japanese figure skater Miki Ando won the World's Figure Skating Championship in Moscow. It was Miki's second world title as she won in 2007. During the 2005-2006 season Miki relocated to the United States to train with former Olympic Gold Medalist Carol Heiss Jenkins. One of her first competitions under Jenkins was in Jamestown N.Y. in August of 2005. Here are some highlights of the future World Champion's skate at the Jamestown Savings Ice Arena. Miki Ando is the only female to successfully complete a quadruple jump in competition.
