As usual you do a wonderful job of bringing distro closer to the viewers. I had a great deal of trouble with Mandriva itself, wonder how this would be. I downloaded the CD version with an lxde DT as default. Its like Arch Linux you have to build everything from scratch. Then why Mageia?

GNOME 3 is now available in Mageia Cauldron (development version). Still not 100% functional. But it will be available in Mageia 2 in April 2012.

@mentalplayground Why?.
When I first started with Linux a friend or mine told me that .DEB packages where better than .RPM packages since .RPM had a lot of dependency problems.. But to be honest I've had the same problems with .RPM than with .DEB. I was told that .RPM was modified to fix those problems. I even found Mageia to be very fast when installing.
I used both Mandriva (Well, I moved to Mageia) and Ubuntu and I am happy with both of them.

@ThePonola Ubuntu became "heavy" to load after 10.04 , but you can switch-of unimportant processes in startup manager.
-
I have to say, having installed it to my hard drive, boot up is really quick for me. <3 Probably even slightly faster than Ubuntu. Which is what this replaced for me. xD

I haven't test Mageia yet but i love to do so :)
Has any tried Pinguy? It's base off ubuntu and it's ranked at 31 on distrowatch.

@JaimedotTorres I made a video recently on the 11.04 version, and one on the 10.10 version before it.

will you ever do a review of Arch Linux? i've had a dabble with it but i'd love to hear how it performs for someone who may be slightly better at installing it :)

@ZomZilla I did a review of Arch over a year ago, and have been using it as my primary system every since. :P I also did at least 3 install tutorial videos on it. Meant to do more, but things keep coming up. :)
