Vietnam Memorial Wall (DC) Defaced Sept 7-8, 2007: PART 2

This is Part 2 of the footage I shot on the morning of September 10, 2007.

Part 2 contains footage of the WEST WALL, which the Park Service employees were trying to clean when I walked through with my video camera.

Part 1 contains footage of the EAST WALL prior to the cleaning.

A story has now been circulated that this damage is a result of a "cleaning accident."

Watch Part 1 - the east wall. Look at the trail of the unknown oily substance along the curbing and up onto The Wall in many places.

How could someone accidentally drip and spray an oily substance the entire length of The Wall in such a pattern as can be easily seen on the video?

Like the oily substance on The Vietnam Memorial Wall, the "accident" story just doesn't wash.

He said thats means the world to me, do you know why he said that? Because people like you spit in their faces. You know how I honor my father and all my other family members that fight in war, I am in the U.S. Army.
