  • Lynne Frederick was such a beauty and talented actress. It is tragic that she is no longer with us. She is an inspiration.

  • @odsall Sellers' friends and relatives didn't seem to have a nice word to say about Lynne, maybe his kids were the same and she just thought "screw you all!" Good on her!

  • awesome accent

  • @computerrage , she also had in her will that money be donated to heart funds & research for heart disease. As I said, she could have handled some things differently but I don't think she was the evil gold-digger some try to make her out to be. She was quite young when she was married to him, and was his fourth wife. Are you saying that Lynne shouldn't be remembered for the actress that she was? Sellers was not the most admirable person in real life but people still celebrate him.

  • @computerrage , I don't pretend to know everything about Lynne but there are two sides to every story. Unfortunately, she didn't really tell hers for whatever reason. Milligan himself was apparently quite an eccentric. Who knows. I do think his kids deserved more than they got (not just money-wise but in terms of affection & love, which Sellers apparently did not provide much of), but it was up to Sellers to leave more to his kids. Sadly, he didn't. Lynne could have handled things differently

  • @computerrage , yes, but Lynne wasn't to blame for Sellers making so little provision for his kids in his will. Sellers was, by all accounts, a very difficult person to live with. Lynne also donated a large portion of the money to a heart fund in memory of Sellers. And he he also had a penchant for younger women and was known for being very jealous and controlling. I'm sure Lynne's life with Sellers (and she was purportedly little more than a nursemaid to him) wasn't all that great.

  • @PeedyTheHairyHobbit , I've noticed that Sellers' daughter Victoria (by Britt Ekland) still harbors hatred for Lynne all these years later, never mind the fact that Sellers was hardly known for being a doting & caring father, yet she seems more than willing to give him a pass. I can understand her being upset that her, her half-brother & sister getting so little from their father but that was not Lynne's fault. Victoria seems to be a very angry and troubled person.

  • That Lynne really was a natural beauty. She didn't need much makeup to look stunning.... unlike some of today's celebs (Jordan springs to mind for some reason).

  • She was so beautiful!

Please check my own tribute to Miss Frederick,

    Greetings from Mexico!
