Eve Online Tutorial - Uncloak & Instawarp

umm you just explained a basic warp... any good tackle will decloak and tackle you

A basic warp doesnt include using a non cov-ops cloaking device - this method if done correctly will allow you to have a much better chance of not being tackled on gates... It is a commonly used tactic that not everyone uses.

you would actually align, activate mwd than activate cloak (you have cloak than mwd). the cloak normally prevents you from activating any modules. your way works because you have sufficient transfer lag between you and the server, so the mwd & cloac activations reach the server simultaneously. this may not be the case for everyone.

bottom line: align -> activate mwd -> activate cloak -> ??? -> profit
