When you buy an animal from a pet store or a breeder, you're responsible for a new member of the family! You're also responsible for the death of an animal in an animal shelter who needed a home. If you want to bring an animal into your life, always adopt from an animal shelter.

  • @Courtinelly there will always be extra dogs.

  • @Werebereus But if people don't look to buy from breeders then the demand will drop and there won't be extra dogs to put in shelters.

  • Adopting IS buying, and considering how animals NOT bought from breeders will eventually end up in shelters, it's essentially the same thing.

  • Agreed, WMBrown

  • When PETA stops euthanizing animals, this will be accepted. until then, this is sheer hypocrisy.

they have killed more animals than they have saved.

  • wtf is this crap.

  • sure thats a great way to put a message across... but damn. I never expected that from Peta. Felt like i was watching something the Phelps family would have done. That was rather... er, bold and somewhat unnecessary.

  • This is really great! Hits home with the message very clearly.

  • This is such an effective commercial.

    ALWAYS ADOPT!
