LA Times blogger Ted Green offered an aology for making fun of Pierce being stabbed within an inch of his life several years ago. “That one was something I probably should apologize for. That one was not only too close to the line, but maybe over,” Green said on a Boston radio station “The truth is I think Paul Pierce is a very, very good player. A Hall of Fame caliber player. I probably shouldn’t have gone to the stabbing card.”The LA Times retracted the line from Green’s story.

LA Times blogger Ted Green wrote this in a post “By the way, Pierce’s idea of a fun night is going clubbing and getting stabbed. Good times!” Over the line? Well, the post has seemingly disappeared off the face of the internet. So, I guess there is no question that it was in poor taste. Now we wait for the LA Times to issue an apology — because they should.
