Most people that see these nukes in this game don't realize how far away you are from the nuke. If you have the game zoom in so you can view the trees. They are so small here that you can't even see then, plus every unit in this game would be a giant in real life. So, it may not be tsar bomb material, but it most certainly is a massive nuke, the biggest i've seen in an rts game.

I find it interesting that nukes are actually USED in supreme commander. I expected some sort of quantum critical-mass device or something like that. After all, the Aeon have fucking GREEN BULLETS for weapons. Why just flat out name the WMD's nukes?

Maybe a 10kt nuke. But still that's a hell of a lot better nuke than any other RTS game out there. Damn I wish I had that nuke in C&C or Starcraft.

You are mistaken. A tactical nuke can fit in an artillery shell as it is used in battle as part of an attack with conventional forces.

Strategic nukes are designed to take out gigantic targets of strategic importance such as cities, command centeres or enemy nuke silos.

Oh yes, the answer to your question: "strategies are bigger in war".

@halfawake454 sup com nukes have an inner radius in excess of 500 m and outer radius of 700+ meters. thats a blast radius of 1.4 km.

which is larger than the tac nuke in world in conflict. the blast extends to a height of several KM's.

(a galactic colossus is 127 meters tall, a battleship 260 ish meters long) the scale of the game is immense to be sure.

I wonder how seraphim experimental nuke explodes in this mod. It has almost twice AoE than normal nukes.
