For this project Kubick and Walsh collected sound effects and created a program to play them in response to various inputs (keyboard, microphone, etc). The improvisatory performance is an interaction between the two human performers and the computer, which randomly selects the effects to play within certain parameters. In addition, the titles of the sound effects are displayed on the monitor (sorry you can't read them here), giving the sounds a certain amount of linguistic context.
