Just a little something I knocked together at gunpoint. I'm sure someone somewhere has made a similar "argument," but this one's mine. And, of course, if you like it- feel free to steal it.

***I've been informed that Dawkins makes this very argument at some point. Damn. Oh well. It's still amusing.

  • Bible prophecy prooves that God is real.

The bible is the ONLY book that prooves of itself that God is real.

If you really want to know if there is evidence of God you can find it through studying bible prophecies alone.

When you have done this then you can say the bible is rubbish and God doesnt exist.

Look up the you tube clip

( scientific and Mathematical Proof that Bible Prophecy is True and Accurate)

  • @ogiaag5m

Oh, thank you SO much for sharing that with me! Having grown up in an overwhelmingly christian society, having been saturated in christian myth since birth, having read the bible for myself, having attended church hundreds of times, and having argued the matter with thousands of christians in person and on the internet... somehow I missed the fact that nitwits like you think the bible "proves" things. I've been living a lie, thank you for showing me the light!

  • @RobTheMonk8

Arguing behind name calling and being rude is what most athiests do best, but it doesnt proove anything.

Did you watch the you tube clip i suggested?

If so can you tell me what is the explanation for all the biblical prophecies that have come to pass ?

What is the explanation for the biblical prophecies that are happening now ?

  • @ogiaag5m

Well, at least you recognized there was an argument behind the name calling. There are two categories of prophesy in the bible. Those that had been fulfilled at the time it was written, and those which had not. For the former, it's no feat for me to claim on Friday that on Wednesday I predicted the events of Thursday. That deals with the prophesies of the Messiah. The latter... which particular prophesies do you think are being fulfilled now or have been recently?

  • the arguments on this video are all based on the law of nature but maybe there is a greater place without the law of nature which is by God. We humans are limited to the thinking that everything has to come from somewhere that is how God has made us.

  • @Nunski17

No, they aren't based on any laws of nature. They're based on silliness. This argument is not meant as a sincere argument against the existence of god, it's meant to ridicule one of the more persistent arguments FOR god, namely St. Anselm's Ontological Argument.

Saying "We're limited to thinking in terms of X" and then going on to posit the existence of something greater than X is meaningless, self-defeating drivel.
