Eneloops are indeed the best. I bought 54 of them and replaced every other battery in my house and at work. I am using them since 2 years and I am happy with them more then ever.

I'm still waiting for 9v Eneloop.

AA and AAA are working good so far that I stopped looking for anything that says "rechargeable", instead I look for "Battery operated" everything.

Ahhh, your right. Well, I was able to pick up some D battery shells for my eneloops that can hold 2 double A eneloop batteries at the same time. Eneloop rules...; )

You just have to keep recharge more often. Depends on the way your gadget operates, having the spare won't be that dificult.

really??? im thinking of buying some over the net as we speak right now....do you have any appliances in ur house that use D batteries?? cause i would need 6 D batteries if i buy the eneloop...but i notice they do not have D batteries? only D battery cases u can put AA and C batteries in...but im not sure these would equal the same amount as a regualr rechargeable D battery from another brand...hmmmmm
