I'm a Wiccan, and the Salem Witch Trials happen to be my favorite historic event. And as a side-note, males practice Wicca too. They're called "witches" as well. Not "warlocks". I love it, because just like any other religion that was established years ago, if it didn't include god as the ONLY person you worshiped, you were either possessed by the devil, or sentenced to death. It's ridiculous.

witch or no witch, they should not have murdered. In the end, God will judge.

Sometimes I wonder if Tituba was just being really sarcastic. Like in an airport, security to a old feeble woman "Are you carrying any weapons, ma'am?" and she says "Oh yeah, I got an M16 in my sock, an RPG in my sock and that kitten I'm travelling with? She's actually a claymore, and my faux-pearl earrings are actually Semtex granades."
if we don't learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it

@Glovefullavasoline Wow. I just knew there would be ONE sexist comment. It never fails. Your logic is that because one woman over 300 years gained a female following, then it's proof that ALL women desire forbidden knowledge? If your going to try and put women in a box and generalize about them, provide some psychological reference and FACTS rather than misplaced confidence in the superstitions of centuries-old religious bigots.
