@javajune23 I grew up in foster care and then was dragged threw court for a child that was not even mine. I ASSURE you... I personally have a life time of more knowledge on this then 98% of people out there. About them not being paid... in a few places only.

I think you're mistaken about what a CASA actually does----the point of a CASA is to help a kid get through the legal system without being alone & find a permanent place to live where abuse doesn't occur and the child wants to live. They help empower the child by explaining the child's interests to the court----------------& PS- CASA's aren't paid, they're volunteers.

If you were real advocates you would be advocating for how many of us were stolen from our familes... and forced into a life of abuse at the hands of stangers...
You people need to get real jobs....
Stop exploiting us... I can personally asssure you....
We did'n't want or need your help. If your a real advocate....you would be fighting to have kids placed with family members extended or otherwise.
Instead you make money pretending to be fighting for the right of kids...
