You so dumb :). First of all, diesel acts as a better lubricant than gas/petrol and that means that your piston rings and your cylinder bores dont wear out so fast. If you have owned or driven both diesel and gas driven cars then you have noticed that diesel engine operates on lower RPMs on the same speed. Again this means that diesel engine components dont have to move so much. And we all know that everything that moves also wears out faster.

Do you have proof of that? So an engine life is based off of what type of fuel it uses? That's fucking retarded, next thing you tell me is that an electric car last forever and a hybrid last longer. Engines by Germans don't last long at all either way. They last barely over 150K and a diesel isn't going to change the car's life. More like the way the engine is built is. Get a clue, fag.

Diesel will never be more powerful than gas. Its been proven. Jeremy Clarkson of Top gear tested a 5 Series (Gas) and a 5 Series (Diesel) the Diesel even had more HP/TQ but the Diesel loses the drag race and track race. Diesel is retarded, and the only thing good about it is the gas saving.

The reason I hate diesel is not because of the smoke or pollution or any of that, in this case I don't even hate it because of it's performance. The thing about gasoline engines is they feel eager to get to the top of the rev range, gas engines just feel more alive and sudden (That's why Civics feel exciting despite being slow). Diesels feel slow and lazy no matter how much power they produce....Good effort BMW (this diesel even sounds nice!), but I'm afraid a gas engine is still more exciting.
