  • Hi everyone!.. just thought id check in and it looks like a lot of you are interested in re-creating this. the "good stuff" in the base is basically PVC parts with a wood base.. the light source is just one of those "replacement hot tub led's" that im sure you can get for 30 or so.. mine was off ebay. And yes, there an aquarium bubbler:)

The HARD part is to find the glass.. that sucker is heavy and i got lucky because a friend already had some. I looked online and didnt have much luck..

  • Ill keep looking around for ideas on how to come across the lamp part a little easier.. im thinking maybe the clear vacuum tubing at the outside bank drive-thrus.. maybe..

  • i used a fish aquarium bubbler, a spa color changing led light (ebay), and i got some glass tubes that used to be chem lab plumbing. oh and the base is a pvc flange and coupler.

  • can you post or send me .. like a "plans" to make a lamp like yours?

  • @cadebonds idk but I want 1

  • Where can I get 1!!!!?????

  • It's good. But the lights going on and off would drive me mad

  • Do you think you can post a tutorial on how you built that with links to the parts you used?

  • I want to use this as the liquid cooling for my PC. That would rock so hard!

  • @joelwakefield .sweet. but what do you use for the power source to power both the bubbler and the light

    ?

  • @joelwakefield did you need some sort of mirriors to reflect the light up the tube? i owned one of these it was made of plexiglass..i bought it from a brand store and months later it fell over and smashed and for some stupid reason i threw away the pump ... i wanna make another!!!

  • i wnna make 2 and put them in front of my house (cemented in) that would be cool!

  • get the tube from ebay, as I made one but not as heavy, in plastic not glass,
