I saw this in the hot summer of 83, as it was broadcasted LIVE late at night on German TV: Since then the band influenced me in music.
The next day i rushed to the record store and bought "Whammy" and it`s still in my shelf today.

damn they were good! few bands can really cut if live they did on this one! wow, they really outdid the studio version! I can only wonder what happened if ricky hadn't died.

You had to see this live in the 80's.... I saw it in the fox theater in atlanta. The BASS was sooo intense the whole place shook :P You just can't recreate that part. EVERYONE was dancing!! It was insane.

Kate is simply unbeliveable - a brilliant musician! So just pumps that baseline on the keys while singing very difficult vocal arrangements close to spot on all the time! ***** stars!

How's this for a fantasy: Fred & Kate have a child, in vitro if necessary, even if they desire a surrogate to carry it. Cindy raises the child since she already has a little family started & "Uncle" Keith tutors the child in drums & guitar. *That* would be an incredible kid!
