Ivor is trying to get a strawberry that is suspended from string above his head. Towards the end he becomes more interested in pulling the string and nearly squashes himself with the bin. The point is to get him to work for his treat and hopefully burn off a few calories. Also to get his brain working. New toys and problems for rabbits to solve is important as they are intelligent animals, they can become easily bored which leads to destructive and aggressive behaviours.
Did he not just get stuck on the string at the end and freak out?

Great idea!! I'll have to post this in our forum soon! I will have to try this with using Jute or Sisal String. I also try and make it fun and challenging for them to get their pellets, but mixing hay and pellets and putting it into a brown paper lunch bag or grass ball toy - In video response. They have learned to dig and toss it around to get their food.

That's a great idea. Tie a piece of apple to a string and let those lazy **** work for their food. Our dutchie could use some extra excercize too ;-)
