Buckethead Machete Close Up Howto

Machete's first solo and a little more close up.

Looked at a couple tabs on ultimate guitar and wasn't satisfied.

Please pardon my undeveloped vibrato and accidental mutes

Bucket's subtle embellishments and timing are really impressive and what make this song amazing. The notes (save for a few quick runs) are pretty simple, but trying to imitate how he sounds is extremely challenging.

What kind of distortion are you using? And what are it's settings?

And how did you set up the delay?

No distortion..Mild overdrive. If you crank the gain too much it gets too razor-like and compressed instead of being smooth.

The delay was something like ~450 ms delay at a low mix (maybe 20%?)
