I was in the middle of downloading OpenSolaris 2009.06 (I tried it back in 2005) and I stopped downloading it because I found out that Sun doesn't give you security updates for free like other F/OSS.

i run solaris at my machine with a dual boot. suns compiler are great. if you have a chance try it with suns solaris. much more faster ;)

it's not what other os can do, it's the solaris, the Sun's OS, is now as simple as a desktop OS. that means, you can have now the fastest, securest and advenced OS on your computer for interteniment. got it?

The "turn window around" thing which everyone "wowed" is the exact same effect the iPhone has with cover flow, and even some mac applications already do that. Macs also can show a miniature of the video that is playing in the Dock, real-time. And the rest of this is only useless blingbling, as Dojan5 stated.
Apple already has better implementations of 3D desktops (see Time Machine) and has already registered patents related to that.
