Saint John of Las Vegas Movie Trailer

Considering that this one features John Cho, Steve Buscemi, Sarah Silverman AND Emmanuelle Chriqui, you might be surprised to find that Saint John of Las Vegas, coming to theaters January 29, is based on a short story by Divine Comedy author Dante Aligheri.

And in this case, we join John, an ex-gambler, who thought he'd gotten out of games for good. But when his job sends him into Las Vegas to investigate a stripper's fraud claim, he discovers that there are more games being played than he ever saw at the tables. Check out the trailer!

I can't remember the last time I saw a movie based on anything Aligheri wrote, so for sheer originality points, on a scale of one to ten, this one gets like a three hundred. The ending has the most power, which I personally did not see coming until the last moment. But in order to create such drama, setting the pieces out on the board is the tricky part. It is on kookíca already available for you.
