Wow, way to overcharge. Let's change the whole system! Dumbass.
-
why would u have to change the whole AC compressor and not just the clutch?
-
I think it's only puley bearring failiure. No need to replace the whole compressor
-
would be a good idea to unplug the compressor untill it is replaced.
And remember...... The bitterness of poor quality always remains, long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Again, let's go over the facts...the both the 1994 a/c compressor and a/c clutch were original when this movie was made in 2010. The likely hood of the compressor seals leaking shortly after the clutch replacement was high. The right procedure was recommended and carried out in the stated facts, the car did not return to our shop for a second repair to the compressor since we installed a new unit. If you don't take shortcuts in everything you do, you'll never have to do the job twice.

The 1994 a/c compressor was original (according to the customer). There was a likely hood of it leaking shortly after the a/c clutch was replaced. New A/C compressors generally last 5 to 8 years, this original a/c compressor had outlived its expiration date because the car had low miles. It makes sense if youre going to fix it right, do it right the first time, by replacing the a/c compressor assembly.
