  • @LibertarianChristian The point is, presidential candidates claim exactly what he's illustrating, and "moderate" Christians are the ones who vote these nuts into power. Most Christians, while they do not believe they hear voices in their head, believe that it's entirely possible that someone else claiming to hear "god" in his head might actually be hearing god. That is also insane.

  • The world is ruled by a majority of brainwashed, deluded, insane, death cult that thinks theres a happy place when you die but still cry and pray to not die...I fear for my human species SURVIVAL!

  • Blasphemy! We, as true Christians, in the name of God, asked YouTube to remove this video and ban stefbot's account for blasphemy.

Blasphemy is being punished in Canada under the blasphemous libel.

    So help us Bob!

  • @wize11 These retards dont deserve survival!

  • @tml4873 'Wait a minute, I haven't heard anyone accusing Obama of being a fundamentalist Christian, nor most of the U.S. commanders-in-chief who murdered innocents aplenty. So, while the video makes a decent point, how do we explain the many "unfundamentalists" who seem as apparently certain they are the Ones chosen to rule over all and kill wantonly as their inner voices move them? The phenomenon must have a broader explanation. The Pro-Aggression Principle of politics, maybe?

  • This kind of reminds me of the conversations between Smeagol and Gollum.

    Great stuff.

If your loved one is in a better place now (after death), then WHY ARE YOU CRYING? - Doug Stanhope -

  • We do not know for sure there is/is not a higher power, its like walking down the sidewalk, staring at an ant wondering if the ant knows anything about geopolitics.. If people want to believe let them believe. If they want to abstain from such thoughts then it is one's right. But stop judging their believe systems. I believe in a higher power, but have no way to prove it other than measuring the size of the universe, the infinite options for life in its simplest form. Are we carbon accident?

  • @ArgosSmith2009 . . . though I'd like to mention that 'Atheists' spans a very large group of people, and there are certainly good and bad Atheists. Most people are probably agnostic, or leaning that way, and agnostics tend to 'go along to get along' which is fine, but not inspiring or even helpful to Life. While Atheists at least have given these ideas some thought, as they do deserve thought and questioning no matter what your conclusions, and believing something is needed for Life I think.

  • @032125 Thank you, you are certainly right, I too easily slip into an appeal to emotion... People are people, and of course this behavior can apply or not apply to any person... Generally I find it disturbing that the Bible advocates death of certain groups, though there are many good, non-violent - peaceful Christians. Generally I find that Atheists are very principled, open to change and discussing new ideas, and have a drive to continuously learn more to improve there lives.

  • @ArgosSmith2009 Well you paint a heartrending picture, but how is that appeal to emotion any different from. say, an overbearing atheist who acts the same way toward a child? Are agnostics or atheists somehow insulated from that kind of behavior?

I've never met anyone who flew into a rage when asked an unanswerable question by a small child. Of course there are abusive overbearing parents, but that's not the exclusive domain of believers. It's not even common.

  • @ArgosSmith2009 Also religion is an easy way to divide people, and where one group of people sees another group of people as insurmountably different, bloodshed often follows.
