Romancing SaGa 3: Jesus?

Ah, Maximus. To get to this point, you have to defeat Forneus with Herman in your party so that he changes to Black, and then have Black confront Maximus at the Pidona church. Maximus then flees to the Divine Tower and the rest is pretty much a dungeon crawl from there. Beating him gives you sweet, sweet rewards, i.e. Holy King stuff that Maximus had stolen from various people.

This is from a fan-translated SNES RPG called Romancing SaGa 3. Some of you may be familiar with the Final Fantasy Legend trilogy or the SaGa Frontier series. Well, those two series as well as the RS trilogy are actually part of the same series of games (usually referred to as the SaGa series). The Romancing SaGa trilogy was released entirely for the SNES, akin to Final Fantasy 4-6.
